Great food across the board. The yucca fries were excellent as an appetizer. Had the Lomo Saltado shrimp and steak excellent choice. Wife had the Pollo a la brasa. Both were fantastic. Great atmosphere and wonderful service. Will Definitely go back. Excellent experience overall.

I came here for lunch on a Monday and was seated fairly quickly. Its a really big restaurant so there are lots of seats. The menu for lunch buffet is pretty limited. I should have just ordered a meal since the buffet option was just ok. Maybe I came on a wrong day and the food was not up to par to the reviews I heard.

For an appetizer we got the yucas fritas and they were really good especially the sauce that comes with them I had the half rotisserie chicken which came with regular fries and they were delicious thick fries sooo good, the chicken had a nice Smokey taste My husband got the lomo saltado which he really enjoyed We got the non alcoholic passion fruit drink and mixed it with sparkling water because we don't like very sweet drinks and then it was perfect Everything came out pretty fast and the service was good I like this place!

In the old Sizzler building, this restaurant has done an outstanding job with the decor and bringing the customer to a place away from home. I can't say I've ever been to Peru but is wrote a paper on the country when I was in fifth grade. So...there's that. BWE and I met some dear friends who had never had Peruvian food. Having grown up in the SF Bay Area, I'm familiar with South American cuisine and have tried Peruvian fare a few times. La Huaca reminded me why I love Peruvian food. The many ethnic influences on the country can be seen in their cuisine. The Lomo Saltado is spiced perfectly along with the veggies that are cooked with it. I LOVE the noodles with the Tallarines a la Huancaina con Lomo Saltado. There is an underlying spiciness to it that hits. When you order you have to get a side of fired plantains. Trust me. It will bring your meal up a notch. I was not aware that they have a buffet available. We're looking forward to returning and giving that a try.

Highly, highly, highly recommended this place when in the Roseville area. Ambiance: The ambiance outside may fool you a bit because it looks like a normal building; however, once you go inside the building, you are going to love fall in love. I actually forgot I was in Roseville lol. It felt very cultural, especially over by the in-house shopping area. Service: we were respectfully greeted by the elder receptionist who also seemed to be either the manager or owner of the establishment. She was very nice as we told her this is our first time. The waiter also was very informative of the menu and gave us a welcoming greeting as well. Food: I give the food about a 9/10. Mainly because I have not tasted everything yet. We got what we could, and what we had was amazing (see pics). The best thing I liked about this place is you could taste the different flavors in each dish. We will be back real soon to try other dishes.

Spacious interior with friendly staff and live music! The salad was really delicious and a generous serving. The passion fruit dressing combined with the corn made for a really unique salad. The ceviche was also yummy and fresh.

We recently had the chance to eat at La Huaca for lunch for the first time. We met some friends that live locally and they recommended the spot. It was Sunday, so in addition to their a la carte menu, they were also offering a buffet that featured many of the best items from the menu. First and foremost, let me say that from the moment we walked into the restaurant, all throughout our lunch, and to the moment we left (about 2 hours later), the service was extremely friendly. It's clear to me the staff really care about ensuring guests not only enjoy the food, but that they also have an amazing time as well! We all opted to do the buffet since it would allow us to sample many dishes across the menu. In other cuisines, the buffet is a place where large quantities of mediocre food is made available to guests - we eat it because of the value it offers rather than the quality of the food. Here, however, the food was of exceptional quality. Everything we tried was really delicious, though I personally really enjoyed the Lomo Saltado and the Pollo a la Brasa. They did not skimp on the beef for the Lomo Saltado and the sauce was so delicious over fries and rice - perfect savoriness and with a hint of acidity to balance. The Pollo a la Brasa was juicy and tender with a really nice smoky rotisserie flavor - highly recommend this dish, whether you get it from the buffet or off the menu. I must admit, I was a bit skeptical of the buffet, but it turned out to be absolutely wonderful and I cannot recommend it highly enough, especially if you're having trouble navigating the menu of Peruvian specialties as you can then sample everything and know exactly what to order a la carte next time.
